The most important upgrade you have is to the cage. There include the cage, galley (boat), chariot (cart), well, dog, cat, warehouse. You will have more than enough stars to buy optional upgrades. You will be able to build Level 1 buildings but then you will also need cement to upgrade cake factories, logs to upgrade costume factories, and granite to upgrade cheese factories. This adds a nice twist to the game because you will also need the new items to upgrade your cake, costume, and cheese production facilities. You will still make cakes, costumes, and cheese and dress bears, but you will also make cement, logs, granite, sailcloth, and ships.
